FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
╔══《✧》══╗
“This is my first time commissioning and I'm not sure about the process, how does it work?”
Once you’ve decided on what type of commission you’re interested in, fill out my Google form here! Once you've submitted your form, I will contact you within 24 hours and ask any questions I have about your request. If there are any extra charges such as complicated backgrounds or extra elements, I will let you know at this time. After you OK the price, I’ll send off the invoice and get to work, and give you a rough date to expect the sketch by.
I’ll send you updates about the piece throughout the process to ask for approval or any potential corrections you’d want. Once all is done, I'll share a Google Drive folder featuring your files.
“I’m not sure how to describe what I want. What do I do?”There are lots of ways to describe your commission, but I find images to be the most useful! Rough drawings with stick figures are great for figuring out poses, props, settings, etc, as well as lots of reference images! (Note: I will not do a 1:1 copy of a reference unless permission is granted by the original artist/it’s under free use, but I can use it for inspiration.)“I don’t know what category my commission falls into.”
Feel free to message me on any of my socials so we can find the closest option for you or discuss it further!
“How long will my commission take?”
It depends on the art and my schedule! Right now I have time for art, though that may change during con season. The majority of commissions will be completed in under 3 weeks with a max time of one month.
“What if I wanna cancel my commission?”
Cancellations are less than ideal but life happens, I understand. The last chance to cancel is after the sketch phase for a 50% refund. If the sketch has not been started or it has passed my projected timeline, you are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations fees are applied on a case-by-case basis.
What if I wanna change my commission?
Message me about any changes you'd like to make. As with cancellations, please avoid any major changes (pose changes, big character design changes, etc.) after the piece is already half-way done! If you really want the changes to be made, please acknowledge the possiblity of further delays/additional charges.
”Where can I see announcements for open slots?”
When slots open to the public, I will make announcements on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Commissions are not first-come-first-serve so the form will stay open until commissions close.
"What programs/tablet do you use?"
I sketch traditionally and finalize in Procreate and Clip Studio Paint!
"Do you do art trades?"
Depends! I’m pretty busy but it can’t hurt to ask. Just make sure the art you're going to provide is proportional to the art you wish to have in return!
"Am I allowed to use the art that I have commissioned from you as my profile picture?"
Yes - with credit.
"Will I own all the rights to the artwork that I commissioned from you?"
I own all rights to my art to display them in my portfolio, but I will NOT sell your commission as prints or make any additional profit from them. In return, you also cannot sell the art that you have commissioned me to draw (even if it's of your OC) without paying for a commercial license.
Can I commission you to sell / commercial-uses? (logo, prints, pins, channel banner, namecards etc)
Commercial licenses are a different price than those listed on the commission sheet but are available! Message me for details.
Please do not sell the artwork without a commercial license or I may be forced to take legal action.
